I liked most everything except the last day I was there the parking is real tight and my new car which was 3 weeks old received a dent in the door. They were trimming the palms and one of the men carrying the palms to the truck must have struck my door with a palm branch. I did not notice it until I stopped at the store down the road after checking out. There was a dirty smudge around the little dent. I now have to pay to have it repaired. That is the only negative. I wish I would have seen it before checking out but I did not. It is going to cost around $50.00 to $100.00 to fix.
I would not recommend this because of the tight parking.
I had a great vacation at the Tropical Beach Resort. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Location is ideal, situated within walking distance of a beautiful beach. "Point of Rocks", which is a popular area for snorkling and driving, was located on the left hand side of the beach. Although advertised as a private beach, it was quite crowded in July. I am a solo traveler, and I felt very safe at this resort. I plan to go back!
The mid island location was wonderful, away from the center of Siesta Keys busier north end. The small suite style is very convenient on vacations. Free beach towels and beach chairs are a nice perk. The price is right. The staff was very nice and helpful in picking restaurants, getting boarding passes and accomodating a later check-out.
The idyllic sea side motel style accomodation that you did not think still existed. Very retro chic. Nice rooms. Clean and well equipped. Good (Aveda) bathroom products. Great location by the beach and surrounded by some pretty awesome properties. Oh to be rich enough to live here permanently!
Use of "ecological" detergents on the laundry means not all stains come out. Even though sheets and towels are clean, they look a little grimy. This is a resort, after all, and the green thing really does not wash (excuse the pun).
Great, best place we stayed during a 3-week vacation in the usa. Nice room/ cottage, so close to the beach. Beach itself is awesome. Wish we could've stayed longer
Very good locaton on Siesta Key beach.....very quiet.
The beds were uncomfortable and the mattresses need replacement.
I loved having a room and a kitchen living area.
When driving up to it, it looked like a motel 6. Was a little nervous at first.
Staff repeatedly gave wrong information. Not close to public beach as advertised. Swimming pool too warm. walk to beach much longer than advertised. Door to room did not properly into frame leaving large gaps. Deceptive advertising.
There was a beautiful walkway to the beach, rooms are very clean and well stocked, comfortable beds, it was all together a great experience. My boyfriend and I plan on coming back.
It was a "Pet Friendly resort"! Staff was friendly and courteous....acutally "thanked me" for picking up after my yorkie. Beach was really close. Sunsets!!! Omg Amazing.
The staff is super! Very clean accomadations. Lights on outside of rooms at night are disturbing however need more comfortable sleeper sofas that can accept 2 adults
Really close to the beach..free chairs and ombrellas..yoga on the beach
Quiet Relaxing Close to beach
No seating area in our efficiency very small
Beautiful location. Siesta key is the Best. Lovely with private beach access. Overall we were very satiesfied!!!
Very nice weekend!! The beach was beautiful. Had a great time !!
Where we were was the farthest to walk to the beach.
